2017 Summer course - BIOL3203 Histology and Advanced Microscopy

ANU is offering an intensive Summer course, BIOL3203 - Histology and Advanced Microscopy, which will be held from 23 January-6 February 2017.

Students will be researching various tissues (plant, animal, human) to analyse and understand structure, function, variance and interaction at a cellular and sub-cellular level using light and ultrastructural imaging technologies.

Students will learn:

  • how to prepare and study different tissues;
  • which instruments and analytical tools to use for specific enquiries;
  • how to present and interpret visual data.
