RSB: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer positions available

Thursday 11 January 2018

The Division of Biomedical Science and Biochemistry at the Research School of Biology (RSB) has two faculty positions available.

To sustain and grow the scale and impact of their research and teaching, RSB is seeking to make two new continuing or fixed term (with a pathway to continuing) appointments at Academic Levels B or C (Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, equivalent to Assistant Professor) to complement and build on their research strengths.

The first position is for a Structural Biologist, preferably with an interest in membrane proteins and/or expertise in cryo-EM (this position may be held jointly with the Research School of Chemistry).

The second position is for a Cell Physiology/Cell and Molecular Biologist.

Successful applicants will have received their PhD (or equivalent) no more than 15 years before the time of their appointment, taking into account career interruptions and non-traditional career paths. Priority will be given to applicants whose research interests overlap with current research in the Division and who are willing to collaborate with existing groups. The successful applicants will be, or have the potential to become, world-class researchers in respective fields, with strong, independent research programs funded by external grants. Their research and teaching will reflect the latest theoretical, quantitative and experimental advances in their field.

Please visit ANU Jobs: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer for more details and to apply.

Applications for these positions close on 12th February, 2018.
