Professor James Whisstock will give a seminar about current and future challenges in cryo-electron microscopy, including single particle analysis (SPA) and tomography. He will also discuss the application of cryo Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to biological samples.
Professor Whisstock is the Director of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Advanced Molecular Imaging, Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University.
This seminar will be hosted by the John Curtin School of Medical Research, as part of the JCSMR Special School Seminar series.
