Biography

Josie Smith has recently joined CAM as our Administration Officer, bringing diverse skills and experience to her role.

Josie originally qualified as a horticulturist, working in retail nurseries in Canberra and then Sydney. After 20 years working in various retail businesses from garden centres to clothing and bookshops, she decided to try a different career path.

Prior to joining ANU, Josie was the administration and website officer for two Canberra-based membership organisations, first the Australian Council for International Aid and Development (ACFID) and then the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
