In response to the ANU moving to Level B - partially open, CAM has changed access requirements for users.

CAM is now able to resume one-on-one training of new users on selected instruments, whilst still complying with COVID-19 protocols.

We are currently trying to extend this to cover more of our instrumentation as well as some specimen preparation training.

Since resumption of user training may not be possible in all cases,  please contact Frank Brink to discuss the current options.

As part of the ANU COVID-19 stage B protocols, access to CAM will now require the following steps:

  1. Documentary evidence stating that you have been granted permission to continue your research at the ANU during COVID-19 stage B. An email stating the above will have to be sent by your supervisor to Dr Melanie Rug and Dr Frank Brink.
  2. Reading and understanding the COVID-related documents and signing Appendix E_COVID_19_CAM. Please send a signed copy of Appendix E (available from CAM) to Dr Melanie Rug and Dr Frank Brink.
  3. Completing the CAM COVID-19 symptoms check and tracing information form each time you access CAM. This form will be available at CAM reception.

We will review our policies according to advice from the university and advise if anything changes.

Please check our website for any changes to the policies outlined above.

Please contact CAM or Frank Brink for more information.
