Wiki Science Competition

Wikimedia is holding its annual Wiki Science Competition from 1 - 31 December in Australia.

The Wiki Science Competition is an international photography contest for science-related images, which has been running since 2011. Entries submitted to this contest are uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and used on Wikipedia.

This contest is held every year to encourage the creation and free exchange of all types of scientific images.

The two top images from each category will receive a $50.00 prize and be entered as finalists in the international competition, with a €500 prize for each category winner.

CAM Director Melanie Rug is part of this year's Australian judging panel, and we encourage all CAM users and anyone with an interest in science to participate.

Entry details, rules, and information on the different categories can be found at Wikimedia Commons: 2019 Wiki Science Competition, Australia.
