Participants will race to find the antidote for a parasitic infection that threatens the fate of humanity in the laboratory escape room; diagnose parasitic infections among wildlife animals in farmscape or campground virtual realities; explore how parasites are portrayed in popular culture, including Japanese manga and social media; and will meet parasitologists from ANU and learn about their lives as scientists whilst in a parasite zoo! The program will take place in at the RN Robertson Building in Canberra ACT (9-10 August) and at the ANU Coastal Campus in Kioloa NSW (14-16 August).
