Position vacant: Software Engineer (Data Specialist)

We are looking for a highly motivated Data and Analytics Software Engineering Specialist with extensive experience in the delivery of data processing and management related to microscopy research services. The successful applicant will be required to perform data analysis using multiple visualisation platforms and processing pipelines arising from the available range of CAM’s electron and light microscopy facilities. Primary focus will be on cryo EM workflows (e.g. single particle analysis, segmentation, machine-learning tools for image pattern recognition and 3D volume imaging) and Micro-Electron Diffraction workflows. She/he will also be expected to provide advice and training to CAM clients and liaise with relevant high-performance computing facilities to develop a data management plan for the facility.
