Angus graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and completed a PhD in plant/microbe interactions at the ANU’s Research School of Biology. His research is focused on characterizing subcellular events during the symbiotic infection of rhizobacteria in legume roots.
In 2022, Angus joined CAM as a casual Life Sciences Microscopist, and in 2023 he transitioned to a full time position as a Life Sciences Microscopy Specialist. Angus will provide technical support and training in the preparation and analysis of biological samples for light and transmission/scanning electron microscopy.
