The Centre for Advanced Microscopy (CAM) is looking for a dynamic microanalytical engineer with extensive experience in the use of electronprobe microanalysers (EPMAs) and scanning electron microscopes (SEM).

The successful canditdate will provide technical support and research advice to academic and professional staff and students from a wide range of disciplines across the ANU and external users and industry clients of CAM.

The microanalytical engineer will be responsible for user training, methods development and equipment management and maintenance on a JEOL JXA8530F Field Emission Gun electronprobe microanalyser (EPMA) at CAM. Experience in mineral chemistry as well as experience with general SEM (and TEM) operation will be a distinct advantage.
